Your Experience: My experience getting my license wasn’t bad when giving my information and taking my written test was just fine however when it came time to take my driving test I failed 3 times.  I mention this because I also know people who have taken the drive test in Ottawa several times and failed until they went to a different city and took thier drive test and passed.  I personally was told I Did not have my hands on the wheel while I was in the process of turning.  That is not physically possible to not be touching the steering wheel while turning a corner.  I am not the only person who has had to go to a different city and pay the fees AGAIN and passed my drive test on the first shot.  Plus each time I was there there was at very least one other person who took a drive test and never came back when the instructor came back which I can assume means they too failed.  I understand that they need to be firm on thier testing but out of 6 different people I have talked to about my experience none of them were able to get thier license in Ottawa they all had to go to a different city.
