A) According to the Illinois Secretary of State website, you have 90 days to apply for an Illinois driver’s license after establishing residence, provided you have a valid driver’s license from Maryland. You can find the nearest Secretary of State facility using the Facility Finder. Some facilities may require you to make an appointment online before visiting. You can check the availability of appointments using the Online Appointment Scheduler.
